About Us
A small practice, by design
Solvatis Advisors is a fractional CFO practice — one senior finance leader, a limited number of companies, each served well.
I've spent more than eighteen years building the finance foundations that growing companies stand on — as an auditor, as an accounting leader inside public life-sciences companies, and now as a fractional CFO to founders and owners. I began in audit and assurance at Clark Nuber PS, a Seattle-area accounting and consulting firm, where I learned that a financial statement is a promise. I have spent every year since keeping it.
Over a decade at NanoString Technologies, a public life-sciences company, took me from accounting manager to Director of Accounting — SEC reporting, SOX controls, ERP integration, IPO-readiness and the annual rhythm of a public company's close. Most recently, as Head of Finance & Accounting at Parse Biosciences, I owned the financial model and long-range plan that leadership used to steer the company, presented board-level reporting, and led the financial due-diligence workstream through Parse's acquisition by QIAGEN — quality of earnings, working capital, purchase accounting, and the post-acquisition strengthening of controls.
Alongside that work I have served as a fractional CFO to companies in hosting and colocation, precision medicine and early-stage advisory — building the models, forecasts, board reporting and finance infrastructure those businesses needed to make decisions with confidence. I started Solvatis Advisors to bring that whole span of experience to a small number of companies: closely, personally, and without the overhead of a large firm.

The work divides into two kinds. The first is building the machinery: practical three-statement, cash-runway and scenario models that show a CEO what hiring, spending, liquidity and financing decisions actually cost. Rolling budgets and forecasts. KPI and variance reporting. A close and a control environment that hold up — under audit, under diligence, under scrutiny.
The second is standing beside leadership when the stakes rise: financing and refinancing, M&A diligence and quality-of-earnings analysis, integration, public-company readiness, and the quiet work of strengthening a finance team so it outlasts the engagement.
